01
Tell us what you need
Choose personal or business preparation, your preferred appointment format and the tax year. Keep your initial inquiry free of sensitive financial information.
02
Confirm scope & organize
We confirm preparer fit, appointment details and an individualized quote. Your preparer explains which records are needed and how to share them appropriately.
03
Prepare, review & authorize
Review the completed return and ask questions before authorizing filing. Filing method and timing are confirmed with your preparer; acceptance and refunds are determined by the taxing authority.
A LITTLE PREPARATION GOES A LONG WAY.
Your first-appointment checklist.
Gather what applies to your situation. Don’t upload or email these records with your initial inquiry.
Business income, expense and asset records, if applicable
Tax notices or estimated-payment records, if relevant
Your preparer will confirm identification and any additional documentation separately. Never send Social Security numbers, tax returns, bank details or identity documents through our general website forms or ordinary email.
GOOD QUESTIONS. STRAIGHTFORWARD ANSWERS.
Before we begin.
Can I book a virtual tax preparation appointment?
Yes. In-office and virtual appointments are available. We serve clients throughout Florida and consider requests from elsewhere after reviewing the return type, state requirements and preparer availability. The team confirms the meeting method and next steps before your appointment.
Are you available on weekends?
Tax appointments are available 7 days a week by appointment. Regular office hours are Monday–Friday, 10 AM–4 PM. Weekend and outside-office-hour appointments must be requested and confirmed; these are not walk-in hours.
How much does tax preparation cost?
Fees depend on the tax year, return type, required forms, record readiness and complexity. Request an individualized quote before work begins. Preparation fees are separate from taxes you owe, government penalties or interest, and any separately agreed third-party charges. No refund amount or filing outcome is guaranteed.
Do you prepare personal and business tax returns?
Yes. BMS offers personal and business income tax preparation through our experienced preparation team. We review each request to match the return scope with an appropriate preparer. Business entity, amended, prior-year and multi-state requests are accepted only after review; not every specialist service is included in a standard engagement.
How do I confirm my preparer’s qualifications?
Ask the team for the name, qualifications and relevant experience of the person assigned to your return. Paid federal return preparers must have a current IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). A PTIN is not an IRS certification or endorsement. CPA, enrolled agent and other specific credential claims should be checked against the relevant issuing authority. Understand preparer credentials at IRS.gov.
Can I send my tax documents through the booking form?
No. Our booking form is for non-sensitive appointment details only. Do not enter Social Security numbers, taxpayer IDs, income amounts, bank details or document contents, and do not send tax-document attachments by ordinary email. Your assigned preparer will confirm appropriate document-exchange instructions separately.
Does preparation include audit representation or legal advice?
No. An initial tax preparation engagement does not automatically include audit representation, appeals, legal advice, bookkeeping or payroll. Any additional work and the assigned professional’s authority to perform it must be confirmed separately in writing.
LET’S MAKE YOUR NEXT STEP SIMPLE.
Personal attention. For your personal or business return.
Request your in-office or virtual appointment. Tell us the return type and tax year—nothing confidential—and we’ll help you get started.
